I believe what you typed was actually very reasonable. But, consider this, suppose you were to create a awesome post title? I am not suggesting your content isn't solid, but what if you added something that grabbed folk's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is kinda plain. You could peek at Yahoo's home page and watch how they create article titles to grab people interested. You might try adding a video or a related picture or two to get readers interested about what you've written. Just my opinion, it would make your posts a little livelier.
